Good project, but this article says nothing about why plastics are a threat to the ocean ecosystem.

Plastics are indeed a problem in the ocean. I blame China.

p.s. Mr Jones, I love your music.

Las Vegas called; wants to know if you\'ll make the afternoon show?

Wayne Newton9/13/2007 10:34 AM

Glad to see my fellow Las Vegas competition succeed in his new endeavour to bring attention to the significant problem of pollution in the beautiful Pacific Ocean. Congratulations, Tom!!

Other than the obvious, more on why plastics are a threat to the ocean ecosystems, go to:http://www.kusp.org/shows/totb.html and look for this morning\'s podcast of Talk of the Bay. Save Our Shores rep featured near the end of this program and talked more about it. Would\'ve been nice if this article included more specifics about impacts of pollution in our oceans.
